Posted June 10Jun 10 Welcome to Video Gaming Forums!!!Over 22 years ago I started the original incarnation of Video Gaming Forums. It was one of the first forum sites on the internet dedicated to video gaming and was an incredible place to come and discuss video games. We had over 15,000 members and 120,000 posts (by today’s standards that isn’t really a lot, but this was during the earlier days of the World Wide Web, when normal people were starting to be able to build their own websites) and had lots of regulars that were there every day. It was so much fun!Well, after nearly 5 years of being online, life took priority. I had a young child, family, and job that took priority, so I decided to close it down. However, gaming has remained a part of my life. I play nearly every day and have dreamt of one day being able to revive Video Gaming Forums. Well, today is the day! Video Gaming Forums is back! We know it will be an uphill battle to compete with sites like Reddit, with millions of users, but help us build a community, like old times, with one focus… to discuss video games and connect with other gamers. I get that the forum concept is a little different than what a lot of people are used to nowadays, but it is a really good concept for building a video gaming discussion community. So, please join and become an active member on the site and tell everyone you know to come and join as well. Let’s build Video Gaming Forums back into the best video gaming community on the internet!!!Gary
